Welcome Aboard!
The Mystique is a comfortable fishing machine. All of the tackle is supplied and is well maintained. Ice is supplied and we will clean your catch to your specifications. There is never a fuel surcharge. Some of Captain Tom’s charter patrons have been fishing with him for over twenty-five years. However, beginners are always welcome. Captain Tom is very patient and great with kids and experts alike. If you're looking for an enjoyable day on the water, and possibly a memorable catch, then you're in the right place.
Charter Information
We are located at West Lake Marina, 352, West Lake Drive, Montauk NY. We can take up to six passengers. We generally fish the tides. Custom trips are available. Half day trips are approximately 5 hours long. Full day inshore trips are approximately 8 hours long. Full day offshore for tuna or shark are approximately 10 hours long. The Charter Boat: Mystique
The Mystique is a 31 foot long, 12 foot wide JC custom comfortable sport fishing boat. It has a Caterpillar 3208 turbo diesel engine and plenty of fishing room. It is owned, maintained and operated by Captain Tom Bucci. Our mission is to have you enjoy a great day of fishing in Montauk. We fish for most species in season. This includes, but is not limited to, Porgies, Sea Bass, Fluke, Striped Bass, Blue Fish, Black Fish, Tuna, and Sharks.
Captain Tom Bucci
Captain Tom has been fishing in Montauk since 1985. Tom received his captain's license in 1991 and got a job as a mate on the Nora John sailing out of the Montauk Marine basin. The Nora John is a 42 foot Bertram and was run by the late great Glen Haab. Captain Tom then owned and ran charters on a 29 foot Dyer called the Misty. He started doing charters on the Misty in 1997. He then purchased and has been doing charters on the Mystique since 2011.
